Swayquill is an independent music discovery platform for artists, releases, and local scenes. People make our selections, not popularity scores. Each pick brings useful editorial context about the artist, scene, or detail behind the music.
How discovery works

A selection starts with a person listening closely and deciding what is worth sharing. Picks carry context with them, so a listener can understand what they are hearing and why the release stood out.

Follow artists to keep up with their work, and save releases you want to return to. Over time, those choices make a personal shelf around the music you want to hear.
For artists
A person on the other side of every submission.
Artist submissions are heard and read by people, not ranked by an algorithm or a popularity score. Review considers the work and the context artists share; sending a release does not promise coverage or placement.
Editorial judgment stays independent from commercial conversations. We do not sell consideration, acceptance, or placement. Rights and attribution are treated as review details: when names, credits, or permission context are unclear, the team can ask for evidence or pause review.
